Contract Service Providers and Intra Company Transfers
(i) Contract Service Providers and (ii) Intra Company Transfers
(i) Non-EEA nationals who would normally require a Contract Service Provider (CSP) Employment Permit but the contract between the foreign employer and the Irish based host body is between 15 to 90 calendar days (inclusive/consecutive).
(ii) Non-EEA nationals who would normally require an Intra-Company Transfer (Intra-CT) Employment Permit but the period of transfer of non-EEA senior management, key personnel or trainees from an overseas branch of a multinational corporation to its Irish based branch is between 15 to 90 calendar days (inclusive/consecutive).
- Only one 15-90 day permission in a 12 month period will be allowed per individual under the Atypical Working Scheme in these situations, therefore potential applicants should assess the nature of the transfer or contract and an application for a CSP Employment Permit or an Intra-CT Employment Permit considered at the outset.
- This Scheme will not facilitate avoidance of the 50/50 rule applying to the Employment Permit regime.
